Generally, the freezing on the launch poem issue can be caused by a couple things. First up, restart your PC with minimal background tasks running. Once it restarts, launch whatever antivirus software you use and add the full Glyph and ArcheAge folders to the exceptions list and the game should launch normally. If it doesn't, close out the game and Glyph, go to your Documents folder, open the ArcheAge folder then the USERS folder and check for a folder called UDF. Right-click that specific UDF folder and select Properties. How many files are in that folder? If it's a huge number, go back out to the ArcheAge folder in Documents, right-click on it and Rename it to anything you'd like. The next time you launch the game it will create a new ArcheAge folder and the game should launch. I hope that helps.
