Revelation 3.0 Update Notes: Crafting, Harvesting, Misc. Proficiencies, and Merchants

0
Crafting, Harvesting, and Misc. Proficiencies
  • All proficiency caps have been increased from 180000 to 230000 skill.
  • The 230000 skill grade is known as Famed and is a single rank above the 180000 skill grade.
  • New titles are now available through completion of a quest once a character has reached 230000 skill.
  • A character may only have 2 Harvesting Skills, 3 Crafting Skills, and 2 Misc. Skills at 230000 famed rank. While specialization snowflakes affect the number of proficiencies a character can have up to the 180000 skill rank, they provide no benefit at the Famed rank.
  • To downgrade a 230000 skill a character must consume a Proficiency Modification Certificate purchasable for 100000 vocation points. Be certain about which skills you improve to Famed rank!

Proficiency Changes

Skill requirements to craft higher-tier obsidian gear have been added:

Blue Salt Gloves, and Wedges have been removed as a requirement to craft some items. To ensure their material cost is met, a new in-game currency price (gold, silver, copper) has been added to each recipe. Existing Blue Salt materials can be sold to a vendor for their original purchase price.

Some crafted consumables have been condensed into a single consumable with specific use to be determined at the time it is used. For example, consumable food items that provided either +STR, +AGI, +INT, or +SPI have been combined into a single item that provides any of the stat bonuses when used.

Two new crafting workbenches known as the “Improved Workbench” and the “Grand Improved Workbench” can be accessed when a Community Center located in Marianople, Hellswamp, Sandeep, Halcyona, Falcorth Plains, Rookborne Mountains, or Windscour Savannah has reached rank 2 or 3 respectively.

Obsidian Weapons and Armor pieces now require 2000, 10000, and 20000 related crafting skill at tiers 5 through 7. They also require 8-200 gold to craft depending on the tier of the item.
